Who can osteopathy help?

Osteopathy helps to treat a wide range of complaints in all ages, such as:

Back & Neck Pain

Whether due to sporting injuries, a sedentary lifestyle or other issues, Osteopathy is often extremely effective at both treating the symptoms and identifying the causes and triggers.

Joint Pain

Joint inflammation can be extremely painful and whilst there is no non-surgical cure to wear & tear, we can help to greatly reduce the symptoms and improve any range of movement.

Sports Injuries

Treatment plans that help to identify parts of the body that are overloaded or compensating for others parts during sports and exercise are key to providing effective remedial treatment.

Pregnancy Posture

Bodies change drastically in a relatively short time during a pregnancy, relieving tension and building core strength can be vital in reducing pain and avoiding unnecessary muscular stress.

Muscle/Tendon Pain

Promoting excellent tissue health through soft tissue massage and manipulation can help to reduce Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness and also prevent future occurrences of muscle and tendon pain.

Spinal damage, disc injury and inflammation are all common causes of sciatica. Osteopathy can be used to release any tension around the sciatic nerve and relieving the uncomfortable symptoms.

Tension Headaches

Tension headaches and migraines can often be trigger due to tension of the muscles or joints in the neck. Gentle traction of the neck has been known to reduce the frequency of these headaches.

Tennis/Golfers Elbow

Repeated extension of the wrist can result in pain throughout the elbow, forearm, wrist and hand often resulting in a weakened grip. Manipulations, stretches and massage can be used to treat this effectively.
